2024 Returning SkyOps (16-17)

About the Summer Staff position:

Skylark Operations (SkyOps) Team is a motivated team of staff age 16+ who will carry out the operational functions of camp, while also getting experience and training in the Skylark way! In addition to being a paid position, SkyOps will be a part of our training program that is designed to give High School students necessary life and professional skills to succeed in the world. Do this and more while having the time of your life in a camp environment for the summer!

Commitments:

• Attend Summer Staff Orientation (Date TBD)
• Work the majority of summer with off weeks requested ahead of time
• Serve 7:00a-5:00p (with time spent with your team in community and discipleship in the evening)
• Be teachable and humble
• Have a blast!

Summer Staff duties are:

• Assisting the Program Director and FT staff in the operational needs of camp including set up, running activity classes, facilitating games, tear down of camp, and customer service
• Supporting counselors in cabin management, ministry to campers, and bible studies
• Providing energy and a fun atmosphere to camp through program implementation
• Devoting time to being discipled by staff, and occasional classes for development
• Ensuring safety and security of camp property
