Content Creator/Social Media Coordinator

Part-Time in Dallas, US - Entry Level

The content creator & social media coordinator will create and maintain a strong online presence for Skylark, engaging with parents and potential parents while staying on brand. The primary role is to implement online marketing strategies through all social media accounts. As a committed follower of Christ, this leader will be passionate about the vision and mission of Skylark and combine this passion with skill to plan, create, implement and evaluate Skylark’s marketing and communication strategies. The ideal candidate is someone who has education or experience in shooting and editing content in the form of (but not limited to) videos, photos, and graphics and who has a good grasp on the most current

digital marketing trends.

This part-time position will report to the VP Marketing, and will work closely with the marketing team and national office leaders to execute a range of social media and marketing campaigns that help shape, promote, and expand the brand.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and implementation of everyday and long term social media
  • campaigns
  • Ideate, shoot and edit day-to-day content in the form of (but not limited to) photos,

graphics, videos and GIFs primarily for our social media channels, but also for our website and other digital/print mediums

  • Plan and maintain digital initiatives and posting schedule across all online platforms including: Instagram, Facebook and Linkedin
  • Post content for social media platforms on a daily basis
  • Engage with followers and other accounts on a daily basis
  • Monitor direct messages and social media tags
  • Communicate customer concerns and needs to appropriate departments
  • Collect and report relevant digital analytics



Background, Experience and Education:

Proven work experience as a content creator and social media coordinator. Expertise in multiple social media platforms. In-depth knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics. Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video). Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels. Ability to gasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively. Excellent communication skills. Multitasking and analytical skills. BS degree in Marketing, New media or relevant field. Experience in Adobe Creative Suite - Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Outlook, Excel. Extensive knowledge of social media.
